Patsy Seddon founded Phase Eight in 1979, as a solution to the young mothers’ quandary of finding fashionable but affordable clothing. The first boutique was launched in London in Wandsworth Common, at 8 Bellevue Road: an address that contributed half to the brand name.

Over the last 30 years, Phase Eight has become one of the UK’s leading brands for female fashion, creating silhouettes and patterns that are flattering for women of all ages.
